I just changed the layout again.
I think I like this one beter. The colours are a little more fun.
There is something crazy going on with said layout. It could just be my computer... When I get home from school/co-op/work I will check again, hopefully it will have fixed itself.
In Knitting News, the Creamsickle blanket is just over half way done. I have about 3 inches knit since I joind the second skein. Also, the pink and white blanket is getting there... I'm not sure if I'm going to make that one a square, or continue till I'm out of yarn. I'll post a picture here when I get to that point, for sure.
I have 2 Grandma's Favourite cloths on the needles. They're my TV knitting... I don't have to pay attention when I knit those.
I'm looking for soap moulds online, in the shape of Awareness Ribbons. I think I'm going to make some up, and sell them with the ribbon cloths.
Thoughts?

I love knitting at school
Every Thursday, I take a pottery class at my highschool.
I usually stay after school, until the class starts, because I think it's a waste of gas to be driven back to my class only a few hours after school has finished.
I usually have something to do, or I bring knitting. Today, I brought the pink and white baby blanket. I sat in the cafeteria and knit for a while. Sat outside for a bit, and then in the class room before class started.
I always get strange looks when I'm knitting at school. The main reason? I'm wearing skinny jeans, Converse, my nose is pierced and I'm knitting a PINK FUZZY BLANKET! I'm a little punk-rock for pink and fuzzy.
In any case, my friends loved touching the blanket, and a couple people have suggested I sell them. An encouraging comment, because that's what I'm looking at doing!

GASP! PICTURES?!
Yes, I finally have pictures! Not many, and not very good quality, but they're here. I went outside, for more natural light, and there were about 40 or 50 birds feeding at the THREE feeders we have... They all looked hungry, so I wanted to get out of there ASAP. Not only did I not want the birds to poop on my stuff, I didn't want to be on the bird's wrong end when it took off, that's one of my worst fears...
Anyway, this is what I have been up to.
I ended up frogging the Yellow Star cloth. I wasn't the biggest fan of the pattern, and I couldn't keep track of where I was. I;m going to try to find an other star pattern somewhere, and make a couple of those.
This is the striped baby blanket. Pink Lemonade and Cloud. It's soooo soft and squishy, just like the one made in the Breeze colourway. The stripes are kind of hard to see, so here's a better picture. It's just over a foot long, and I love knitting it. I'm really enjoying the yarn I chose for the baby blankets. This is number One of my Three blankets I want to have finished. I also have the Creamsickle one cast on, so that's number Two.
Sideways, but here's the Breeze blanket. 23x23 inches, ends still not woven in (obviously, I wait till craft show days to do that!). I'm planing on selling them at the show, unless an other one of my cousins has a baby in the near future!
I have one more of the Ribbon cloths in the works right now. That is by far my favourite pattern. Cancer is something that has touched many people close to me, and, although it's not much, I feel like I'm doing my part.

Can you block cotton? Because the Heart Cloth needs it! I'm thinking I might eliminate this pattern. I'm still on the fence about it. The one I made before the last craft show was sold to my friend's mother... So, I'm not sure if she actually wanted it, or if she was just supporting!
The Mystery Cloth! It's more or less seed stitch on one side, and stockinette on the other. I really like it! nice and soft on the ST side, and scrubby enough on the seed side. I would use it for a face cloth

Still no pictures
I just finished the "Breeze" baby blanket. Its 23x23 inches. Rather small, but I think it would be perfect for a toddler to tote around.
I also just cast on an other baby blanket. This one is going to be striped. Pink Lemonade and Cloud, 60 sts wide, on my purple circulars... (side note: I should get a needle measuring device. I know they exist.) It's about 4 inches long already. I might make this one more rectangular.
On the subject of babies, my friend Brittany just had her baby. March 27th. A beautiful baby boy named Damien.
Her brother's girlfriend also had their baby, on April 6th. Also a boy, named Landon.
They're all doing great! And the new grandpa couldn't be happier, 2 little boys that will carry on his last name.
This month, I'm going to try to finish both blankets I have on the needles. That could get difficult, with some of the stuff I have coming up at school. I am also trying to finish at least one of the skeins of cotton I currently have. Sounds easy enough, but most of my skeins are the big 12 oz ones. And most of them are less than half used.
I also don't want to buy any more craft supplies until all my baby blanket yarn is used, and I can fit all my hemp into my storage unit.
My goal for mid-may is 3 more baby blankets, 10 dishcloths and 50 pieces of hemp jewelry. I have no idea if this will happen, but this is attainable. School might get in the way...
In other news, I have been reading many other knitting-related blogs. Usually while I'm knitting at the computer.
This one is my current favourite.
I'm really hoping my lost camera shows itself soon. Or I will have to borrow someone else's to get some pictures on here!

I'M NOT DEAD!
I havn't updated in a while, and the last updated shouldn't even count. This one, either, really...
This is what I've been up to:
A rainbow heart dishcloth, made from this pattern. I have about 8 rows left on that. As soon as I find my camera, there will be a picture.
Still working on the baby blankets. Just started the second skein on the Breeze colorway. I'm going to finish this one once it's a square. I should have enough leftover to make at least one hat on the smallest knifty knitter loom.
Other than those, I've made a couple of the regular dishcloths, with the YO holes all around the edges.
Yesterday, I went to a yarn store not far from my house that is, sadly, going out of business. I ended up not buying any yarn. But, I may go back today to get some. I did get some hemp and beads, though. A whole bunch for about $10.
That's my other craft. I knit, and I make stuff from hemp. That sounds vague, but it's the truth... I never really know what I'm making until i see how the beads and the string come together. I'm going to work on this for a little while today, hopefully. The amount of hemp I bought pushed my storage container over the limit. I'm going to have to use some of it up real soon.

Current projects
I have quite a few projects on the needles right now. I just thought I should updated to show I havn't fallen victim to Rick Roll, yet.
I still have that mystery dishcloth going. I usually knit that one on the bus, so it's still sitting in my bus bag.
The yellow dishcloth hasn't progressed. I can't figure out where in the pattern I am. I'm thinking of taking it off the needles and using a different pattern.
I have 2 baby blankets going. One in "Breeze" and I'm not sure on the colourway of the other, it's a pink and yellow-ish varigated., they are both Red Heart Baby Clouds, though.
I've also been making hats on my Knifty Knitter. I'm planning on getting a bunch of super soft yarn from an LYS that's closing down and making some chemo caps. I will update Homespun Helpers when that happens.
