Sick, Sick, Sick

Not feeling great today... I really didn't sleep well, and my throat is not happy.
I knit half of a dishcloth yesterday, as well as 4 rows on the blanket. Once again, only half of what I wanted to do. I did get quite a few other things done around the house, though.
I've already reached over 25 followers between the 2 blogs!
That's a party in itself! If I can keep that number steady, or even increase it by the end of the month, I will be quite happy. Even if I don't meet my other challenges.

I have a question for all of you! I'm getting ready to start on an other dishcloth set but I never know which colours of yarn to use. If you had to pick a colour of cotton dishcloth, would you pick
-A colour to match your kitchen decor
-A neutral colour like beige or white
-A happy bright colour
-A favourite colour
-A colour to match the season/holiday
-Something else
If you could comment with your answer, and include what colour you would love to see in dishcloth form, it would be greatly appreciated! I have tons of cotton to use, and it's always super hard to pick which one to use next!

  1. I look for bright orange and teal to match my kitchen. They are rather difficult to come by in dishcloths! -Daria

  2. Probably something that either matched my decor (if I had one) or something that fits my personality. I actually have started to collect skulls (cookie jar, 2 mugs) for my kitchen... so a skull on a dish cloth would be awesome to see!

  3. I think just a neutral color, that way if I move, which I seem to do frequently, I don't have to get new dishclothes to match the decor :)

  4. I go for seasonal colors. DArk hues during the fall and winter months and light bright cheery tones during spring and summer!

  5. It's a dishcloth -- why in the world does it need to match the decor? That said, I vote for variegated yarn in medium-bright colors so it's pretty AND doesn't show the ground-in, unable-to-completely-wash-out dirt.

    Hope you feel better soon.

  6. This time of the year I would love to see fall colors like orange, amber, soft greens, browns and reds. :-)
